Field Note #1: Why I’m Starting a Blog (Even Though I Don’t Know What That Is)

Hello. This is Chief speaking.

I have decided to keep official records of important happenings, strange creatures, mysterious sounds, snack results, and other Chief-related things.

I was told this is called a “blog.”

I don’t know what that means. But it sounds important. So now I have one.

Here’s what you need to know:

• This place is called Worrenvale.

• I’m in charge of it, sort of.

• Sometimes the trees whisper. That’s probably fine.

• If you’re not sure where you are, you’re probably somewhere interesting.

This blog will include field notes, emotional observations, and occasional warnings (like: never trust a drawer labeled “Misc.”).

If anything unusual happens to you while you’re here, please leave a note.
